Developing the Next Generation of Women of Color Leaders
We are launching a campaign to maintain our current work and to substantially increase the number of women and girls that we serve through the following priorities:
- Sustain the long-term commitment SisterMentors has to our current women and girls.
- Increase the number of women and girls that we serve.
- Grow staff to support more women and girls, and develop staff as future leaders helping communities of color.
Now More Than Ever
We are living in challenging times, and this makes SisterMentors’ success more important now than ever. Racist, sexist and xenophobic attacks on civil rights are directly impacting the women and girls that we serve. Our work has long been centered on the dignity and value of women and girls of color who we see as deserving of equity and inclusion.
SisterMentors has had tremendous success and impact on women and girls of color over the last 20 years. We have helped 84 women of color to obtain higher education degrees – bachelor’s and doctorates. We are excited about how much more we can accomplish over the next 20 years. Join us!
